 Welcome back to Dev Blog #6


    Let me fill you in on what has been happening in the last 7 days.


    Story Play Things:

      1. I've been working on all of the little animations that go into making choices and talking to our specific characters.
      2. I've been working on the very complicated logic of when to trigger these animations.
      3. Art has officially started and we are progressing quiet quickly through it. (We will show art soon.)
      4. All of the story for the planned December release is done. So now it's all about putting it together and making sure y'all get a very good product.

        

   Dream Quill Interactive:

     1. Our website has been coming along very nicely. we want to make sure it looks bueatiful and professional. It takes quiet a long time to perfect.

     2. For any of you who are interested:
        Frontend tech:
            - React
            - Scss
            - Material Ui
        
        Backend tech:
            - Node js
            - Express
            - progresql database
     

 Whispering Burrows

   Whispering Burrows is going to be put on pause until the release of Story Play the demo.

 Hello all reading this weeks development blog. Story Play:     There has been a lot going on I have no idea where to start.           1. Story progress on The Conquest of Dreams is moving faster than we can get it in the game which is nice.     2. Overall development progress is absolutely phenomenal. Just for you nerds out there we are using the Godot game engine along with there built in scripting language Gdscript. Great engine, great programming language especially for beginners, highly recommend.      3. Dev blog Relaunch #5

 Welcome back to the Development Blogs We are so sorry we haven't had them for a month. My silly self forgot to write all of them while I was on vacation once again very sorry. As of right now the teams progress has very nicely continued in a steady flow for the December Demo Release. We Love community involvement so how about you guys tells us what you are most excited about for story play after reading this dev log.  Story Play  - We are continuing progress on The Conquest of Dreams Chapter 1 progress. We are about 90% done with that.     - As for other things we are working hard on getting our artists character descriptions so that art can progress for now we just have simple art placeholders.   - Background art has also been very nicely progressing as time has went by. Welcome to the Dream Quill Development Blog!!

 We will try to stay consistent with  a once a week schedule on uploading to this blog. Progress:   This week we have been working on the story and finalized to art style for story play.    As for Whispering Burrows, I have been working on some art assets. Things you will see on this blog:     - Weekly progress on both Story Play and Whispering Burrows     - Art sneak peeks for both games     - Game play screenshots (When available)     - Faq's (These will be us guessing on what questions you have. Also feel free to ask anything in the discord or Reddit.)  Why a blog?:          - We would like to reach  a larger audience, therefor we decided on making a blog to put some information about Dream Quill Interactive games out to the public.          - Also we all love writing so we thought it would be cool to have a blog.
